It is important to me to provide a professional service to my clients. I am always glad to hear great things about the trips my clients receive. Sometimes, I even hear from other anglers on the river, which is a great surprise. Read what Steve had to say about our encounters on the Grande Ronde:
"Having heard of the phenomenal success of B.J.'s Guide Service, we decided to book a fall Steelhead trip down the Grande Ronde. To a point, the trip exceeded all of our expectations! Brian is an outstanding guide, professional, funny, and downright SPOOKY when it comes to predicting fish strikes (which happen a LOT)!"
"You have to do this at least once! A word of warning, though. Fishing with B.J.'s guide Service is extremely addictive, so make sure to book your return trip early!"
"Thanks again, Brian! It was truly the best time we've ever had fishing!" ~ John and Kim Stephens, Tri-Cities, WA.
"BJ:
On my way home, I was thinking about the river and how it used to be. You, Dean, and John were the only ones my wife and I would see while we enjoyed a few solitary days camping above our favorite pool.
Although a lot of things have changed,it's good to see you're still there setting an example for all of the newcomers. You are doing more than your share to show that etiquette in fishing is not dead! THANK YOU for giving me room to fish! It seems to me you had told me that you play with the fly from time to time. Well, as a token of my appreciation, here are a few of my favorite flies. All of them fish well in a variety of water. Try the bright ones in shaded water and the black ones in the deeper, cold spots. If the water gets above 45 degrees, the dry flies are the most fun!
With all the crowds, we may not see you next year. We may have to go earlier-I'd rather have few fish and less people.
Until next time...
Steve (with the shiny wood boat)"
